When the Trust first started, it purchased eight existing houses and modified them. Unbelievably those houses are now over ten years old – so the Trust has decided to slowly sell them off, and with each sale, purchase land and build new homes. This will ensure the Trust has new low-maintenance homes available for its tenants.
The Trust completed building three new two bedroom units in January 2021 in Maunu, Whangarei.
