On the 27th of March 2025, a small gathering was held to officially open the three new units built in Onerahi, Whangarei by the Whangarei Accessible Housing Trust (WAHT). The event was attended with representatives from WAHT, Classic Builders and Assure Rentals (Property Managers). A selection of photos from the event are further down in this news feed.

WAHT is thrilled that the Onerahi units opens a further three homes for people with disabilities to live independent lives… the Trust has built and opened nine new units over 2024 – 2025! Photos of the new units can be seen under the Recent Builds tab on this website 🙂
