On 4th of December 2024, a gathering was held to officially open and celebrate the six new units built at Glenbervie, Whangarei by the Whangarei Accessible Housing Trust (WAHT). The event was very well attended with representatives from the Whangarei Accessible Housing Trust, Classic Builders, Assure Rentals (Property Managers), the NZ Herald, Whangarei Mayor Vince Cocurullo, Reverends Joseph Makene, Anne Kake and Philip Kake and Councillor Carol Peters along with many other members of the community.
