During the month of July 2025, our trustees recognised and celebrated our whanau and the important others in our lives who provide the ongoing awhi and support we need in order to successfully deliver on our vision of accessible housing for all. We celebrated two highlights:
Firstly, in the middle of the month, we were privileged to meet a whanau using the Respite House which we have established in partnership with Tiaho Trust. The whanau are thrilled with having a service where they have confidence that their young disabled family member can be well cared for whilst they take a well earned break from their carer roles. Secondly, later in the month we shared a mid year Christmas dinner with the people who support and enable us. Fittingly, a beautiful cake (see below) was made by the sister of one of our trustees.
