Onerahi progress story – Build Completed March 2025!

Three Units Completed in March 2025 – This means that 3 more people can live INDEPENDENT lives in an accessible HOME… Hurrah! 🙂

On the 27th of March the units had been completed and a small gathering was held to celebrate the completion and opening of the three units. The completion of these three units means that the Trust has built nine new homes in Whangarei over the 2024 – 2025 time period which is a great achievement. The timeline below follows the journey of the building of these three units from bare land to completion along with photos… please feel free to browse through the building story 🙂

The photo below is the bare section at Onerahi where three new 2 bedroom units will be built… this is where the story begins!

11th May 2024 – Fantastic to see the Earthworks being started at Onerahi whilst Glenbervie also continues… we have two new builds underway!

7th July 2024 – The building site now has an accessway and a building platform… boxing for concrete slab will be on the “menu”

16th August 2024 – Great to see the timber boxing in place for the concrete slab along with a privacy fence on the left of the section as you’re looking at the photos. The third photo looking down the driveway also shows how close and convenient the Onerahi shopping centre will be to these three units 🙂
