The photo below is the bare section at Glenbervie where six new 2 bedroom units will be built. These will be built on two building sites with three units side by side on each site.
20th March 2024 – Wonderful to see the Earthworks being started!
12th April – Building platform well underway… A lot happens in 3 weeks!
19th April – Timber boxing in place for the first set of three units, getting ready for the concrete slab to be poured…
4th of May – Concrete slab has been poured! We now have the floor, on to the scaffolding for the walls next…
Retaining wall completed along the boundary line on the right side of the section. A fence will be constructed along the top of this to give the tenants and neighbours privacy from each other.
Earthworks continue…
17th May – Privacy fence completed along the boundary line.
The scaffolding is up… next will be the framing for the walls, making great progress!
31st May – The framing is underway – hurray :-). Can’t wait for the walls to be up because then we will really be able to see the units taking shape!
8th June 2024 – Framing at the back of the units.
1st July 2024 – A lot has happened since the last post! We have the concrete slab down for the second set of units along with some scaffolding and the framing is taking place… plus the first set even has the roof on and building paper on the walls ready for further construction.

5th August 2024 – we have bricks!!! The first set of three units is progressing well with the bricks up and looking great with the roof and joinery. Now on to the internal fit out 🙂
26th August 2024 – We have both sets of units bricked along with roof and joinery in place – YAY!!!
