Please keep your home clean. You can use the guide below to help you. The guide will also be used by your Tenancy Manager when they inspect your home.
Cleaning guide
Bathroom
- After every shower, please clean the shower floor area with the broom provided for this purpose. This is to prevent the build up of soap scum and limescale marks as recommended by the flooring company
- Keep the rest of the shower area clean, including the drain. Spray the drain with a general purpose bathroom cleaner
- If the sealant around shower or bath edges is getting black with mould, please contact Assure Rentals
- If you notice ANY mould on the walls and ceilings, please contact Assure Rentals immediately
- If you notice dust in vents and fans, please contact Assure Rentals
- Clean the sink, toilet, benches, cabinets and floor surfaces
Kitchen
- Clean the stove, including the back and sides of the stove, the elements and the oven
- Clean the bench and floor
- Where you can reach or have support, please remove any marks from the ceiling, walls and cupboard doors
Laundry
- Clean the laundry tub
- Where you can reach or have support, please clean the walls and ceiling to remove dirt and dust
Floors
- Where you can reach or have support, mop the floors and remove any marks
- If you notice any marks that you can’t get off, please contact Assure Rentals
Grounds
- Remove any rubbish and keep the grounds tidy
General
- Where you can reach or have support:
- Spot clean marks on walls and ceilings
- Remove cobwebs
- Clean cupboards inside and out
- Wipe window sills and frames
- Wipe lower skirting boards between walls and floor
